Great Lakes Power Vac has always been committed to providing high-quality, costeffective, safe, and reliable industrial services. One year ago, as fuel prices hit record highs,
as transportation costs in general increased due to a shortage of drivers and equipment,
and as inflation affected overall costs, Great Lakes Power Vac (GLPV) made the hard
decision to institute a fuel surcharge for the first time in its history.
In implementing the fuel surcharge, we promised to monitor our costs and adjust the rate
as necessary. While inflationary factors are still affecting our operations, fuel costs have
fallen from an all-time high. This reduction in costs allows us to decrease our fuel
surcharge to 6.25%. This rate will be effective starting on June 1, 2023. GLPV reserves the
right to adjust the surcharge in the future based upon market factors. Any adjustments to
the fuel surcharge will be instituted on the first of each month and be published on GLPV’s
website.
